What is "Home Staging?"Staging is the process of preparing any home for sale. It is a unique system of neutralizing décor, de-cluttering, and de-personalizing, repositioning furniture in order to maximize space and adding some final details to the home to appeal to buyers.
When you get ready to place your home on the market for sale, it becomes a product. Even though your home is one of a kind to you, there are lots of houses just like yours on the market. In order to compete with the competition in the marketplace, your product must show better and be priced right.
Staging your home could mean the difference between selling quickly or being the last property on the street to sell.
Why Stage?
If you were trying to sell your car, would you leave items on the floor and seats, not clean the inside or wash the outside, and leave stickers on the bumper? I think your answer would be; No.
You would do everything you could to make your car shine inside and out for potential buyers because there are lots of cars for sale, and yours needs to stand out from the competition.
Well the same thing applies when selling your home. You need it to shine for potential buyers so it stands out from the other houses for sale with the same square footage and selling price as yours.

This is done by creating spaces that stimulate “positive energy” for potential buyers. “Red Flags” create questions in a buyers mind resulting in a lower offer or no offer at all. Staging will minimize the “Red Flags” and get potential buyers imagining themselves moving right into your home.
